This old violin was my Grandfathers and then my Fathers. They were both exceptional musicians; Grandfather called and fiddled for many a square-dances from Lebanon Missouri to Boulder CO, Father had his own country western band. The sheet music doesn't fit the tunes it played but was chosen by me for the contrast and the music I was listening to as I painted this priceless memory.
