The Cowgirl isn't given as much attention as the cowboy when it comes to the working force behind cattle and horse ranches of the West. I find these few hard working, hard riding, top hand women facinating to paint and sculpt. Their love for the lifestyle, though hard, is what keeps them in the saddle day after day, year after year. I admire their courage, horsemanship, devotion and passion for the Cowboy/Cowgirl life. My Cowgirl art is my dedication to their uniqueness and persistence to hold to their dream.
